Our story begins on August 22, 1985, and then continues on May 28, 1989, with the birth of a beautiful little girl, who would one day bring a superhero into the world.
Our superhero, Trent “TJ” Juddson De Los Santos, passed away peacefully in his parents’ arms at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. Trent bravely fought Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) and had recently undergone a successful heart surgery. However, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, he became unresponsive due to an unknown cause. Despite the dedicated efforts of the medical team, our beloved boy took his last heartbeat at 9:26 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at just 18 months old. Trent had the gift of life and radiated joy despite his health struggles. His smile could brighten anyone's day within moments. Our Trenty impacted countless lives, teaching invaluable lessons in love, strength, and determination.
During the first 236 days of his life, Trent spent time at Texas Children’s Hospital, undergoing several successful open-heart surgeries and procedures, receiving love and healing from many. His smile lit up any room, and he was undeniably a handsome boy, with luscious hair and beautiful long eyelashes—truly the ladies’ man. We like to think he enjoyed “visiting” the hospital for spa days with the nurses. Trent loved chocolate, Paw Patrol, laughter, and racing around in his walker. He delighted in throwing his toys from the high chair, seeking attention, and enjoyed dancing and clapping to music with his mom. He had playful shouting matches with his sister Bella and loved playing peek-a-boo with his brother Houston. He would sneakily grab Dr. Pepper bottles from his brother Baby whenever he could and cherished wrestling matches with his dad. His heart overflowed with love! He embodied the true spirit of a superhero, adored by his family, doctors, nurses, and everyone he met.
Trent Juddson De Los Santos was born on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 9:19 AM to Betsy and Domingo De Los Santos at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas, weighing 8 pounds 5 ounces—truly the lion he was (Leo). He arrived with a thick head of hair that drew everyone in and adorable chunky cheeks that begged to be pinched.
Trent is survived by his siblings Gwyndalyn, Baby Aiden, Travis, Houston Ari, Bella Vida, and his niece Catalina, along with his grandfather Carlos Martinez-Maldonado and grandmother Rosalinda De Los Santos, great-grandmother Eulalia Lopez-Gama, uncles and aunts Candy and Joshua Sater and Gabriel and Brenda, Aurora and Christopher. Cousins Laura, Joshua Phoenix and Lucus. His godfather is David “Sleepy” H. Martinez.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Francisca Guadalupe Martinez-Gama, paternal grandfather Mickey De La Rosa, paternal great-grandparents Aurora Facundo De Los Santos and Domingo R. De Los Santos, maternal great-grandfather Antonio Gama, and grandparents Santa Maldonado-Pontaza and Ricardo Martinez-Hernandez, along with paternal great-uncle Gerardo “Lalo” De Los Santos and cousin Dinosaur.
Trent, please watch over us and give hugs and kisses to our family in heaven from all of us. You will forever be our Heart Warrior.

Gail Barnhouse, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, went home to be with our Lord on February 1, 2025, in Houston, TX. She was born in New Iberia, LA, on October 27, 1949, to Rita and Willie Gary. A proud graduate of New Iberia High School, she went on to marry the love of her life, Frank Barnhouse, in 1972, and they shared a beautiful life together until his passing in 2017.
Gail’s life was one of service, love, and unwavering kindness. She dedicated many years to Scouting and the PTA, shaping young lives as the co-leader of Girl Scout Troops 3371 and 3144. Once her children were older, she embarked on a successful career in sales at Foley’s and later Macy’s, where her warm and friendly nature made her a favorite among colleagues and customers alike.
A gifted crafter, crocheting was her passion, and she found joy in creating beautiful blankets, which she lovingly gifted to family and friends. But beyond her talents, Gail was a social soul, a beacon of warmth, who never met a stranger. Her heart was vast, and she embraced everyone she met with love and acceptance.
She leaves behind a family who adored her:
• Her daughters, Alison Barnhouse, Opel and her husband Charles Fults, and Angela Hudson and her husband Doug
• Her son, Jason Barnhouse and his wife Roxana
• Her cherished grandchildren: Jonathon, Kaitlin, & William Fults; Corbin Varvares; Morgan, Mason, & Matthew Barnhouse; Kimberly & Cody Wilson; Alissa and her husband Steve Clarke; and Aeden & Edwin Hudson
• Her sister, Linda Stelly, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins
• She also held Brandy Sutton, Chris Grant, and Dustin Grant and their families close to her heart, considering them her own
• And to the entire Cornman Clan, she was known as Mama K, a title she wore with love and pride.
Though she has left this world, she is now reunited in heaven with those who went before her: her beloved husband Frank, her parents Rita & Willie Gary, her in-laws Amelia & Frank “Barney” Barnhouse, her sisters-in-law Francis Horn & Louise Parrott, her brother-in-law James Barnhouse and his wife Judy, and her brother-in-law Wayne Stelly. Most bittersweet of all, she is reunited with her best friend and sister in spirit, Cheryl Cornman, along with many other family members and dear friends who were waiting with open arms.
Gail’s legacy is one of unconditional love, generosity, and a life well-lived. Her kindness, humor, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A memorial picnic and celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. Until then, may we honor her memory by spreading the same love, warmth, and kindness that she so effortlessly gave to everyone around her.

Helen Agnes Adair
Helen Agnes Beard Adair passed away on December 3, 2024, of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was 89.
Survivors include son Andrew and Teri Adair of Houston, daughter Ellen and Jeff Schulz of Houston, son Brent and Shelley Adair of Austin, son Craig Adair and Tina Berner of Austin, sister-in-law Kitty Adair of Brenham, and eleven grandchildren: Rebekah Adair, Matthew Adair, Gabrielle Adair, Eric Schulz, Emerson Schulz, Randall Schulz, Jakob Schulz, Mabry Adair, Piper Adair, Eliana Adair, and Thomas Adair.
Agnes was born on October 6, 1935, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, the second of two children, to Helen Tullos Beard and Harry Beard, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Adair, and her brother, Harry Beard, Jr.
Agnes spent her early years with her family in various cities and towns in Kentucky and Tennessee as well as Chicago, Illinois. In 1945 her family returned to Dyersburg where her parents were raised. Agnes loved small town life in Dyersburg. She thrived in the tight-knit community of family, neighbors, school, and church (First United Methodist). She was a cheerleader and played on the girls’ basketball team; she took trips to nearby Reelfoot Lake with her girlfriends. She also studied piano and was active in her church, sowing the seeds of two life-long passions: music education and her faith community.
She spent her first two years of college at the University of Tennessee-Martin and graduated from UT-Knoxville in 1957 with a B.A. in Secondary Education. Agnes moved to Dallas in 1958 to pursue a Master’s Degree in Sacred Music at Southern Methodist University, which she received in 1962.
It was in Dallas where she met the love of her life, Bill Adair. Bill and Agnes married in 1961 and moved to Houston at the end of that year. They were active members of First Presbyterian Church, where Agnes directed children’s choirs. Agnes put her teaching career on hold to devote herself to her family and the couple’s four young children. In 1980, Bill and Agnes joined Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church (MDPC) and quickly became immersed in their new church community. Agnes returned to education in 1984, teaching music at Edgewood Elementary and Hunters Creek Elementary. She retired from teaching in 1998 to care for Bill, who passed away in 2001.
For the next 23 years, she devoted herself to her adult children, grandchildren, and service through the MDPC community. There she grew in her faith with her friends in the Faith Explorations class, served as an Elder, sang in the choir, served on pastoral search committees, taught Sunday School, participated in local ministries, supported women entering ministry, and more. Agnes loved reading, musicals, and travel. She took each grandchild in his/her 8th grade year to Washington D.C. to learn about history and government. She visited her children in Central Asia and South America. She dug into astronomy, making trips to nearby Brazos Bend State Park. She hiked with her family in the mountains of Colorado and Washington well into her 80s. She was a loving, laughing, and caring force of nature.
The family is deeply grateful to all those who loved and cared for Agnes so faithfully through her Alzheimer’s journey (her MDPC community, friends, caregivers, hospice staff, and more). A service to celebrate her life will occur on Friday, January 3, 1:00 p.m. at MDPC (11612 Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, 77024) with a reception following the service. Memorials may be sent to MDPC.
Agnes was a faithful servant of God, dedicated wife and mother, devoted friend, passionate music educator, and lover of God’s beautiful creation. She will be sorely missed.
Thank you for showing us how to live. We love you, Mom.

She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2004 and went on to a meaningful career in Special Education at Dulles Middle School.
Jill married Bill Conger in 2005 and they had daughter, Adriah Belle in 2009, and son, Lein David in 2012.
Jill and her family enjoyed taking long road trips. Often taking detours and making impromptu stops along the way to see the lighthouses that she loved.
She never heard of a book she didn't want to read or a child she didn't want to help. And she helped hundreds in her role as ARD Facilitator for Special Education.
But the children dearest to her heart were Addie and Lein. She was a proud and devoted mother who never said no to a carpool or scout campout.
Jill volunteered in the Kids Ministry at River Pointe Church in Richmond, Texas for many years. She loved the Lord Jesus and shared about His grace with many friends throughout the years. We know she has now been rewarded for her faith with His free gift of eternal life.
And until the day we join her there, we will remember her happy laugh and friendship.
Jill is preceded in death by her grandparents Richard and Mattie Jo Lanier and Jay and Janie Bennett.
She is survived and dearly missed by husband Bill Conger; children Adriah and Lein Conger; mom and step dad Joy and David Easterling; dad and step mom Tommy and Donna Lanier; sister Sarah Domino and family; sister Laura Gomez and family; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Joel Lawernce Guillaume passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at 50 years old, on October 2nd, 2024 in Houston, Texas.
Joel is preceded in death by his father Lawerence (Larry). He is survived by his children Abby and Zane and their mother Holly; mother Patricia (Patty); brother Matthew (Matt) and sister in law Kimberlee (Kim); girlfriend Beverly and his many other friends and family.
Joel grew up in Sioux City, Iowa where he attended North High School. After graduating high school, he attended South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He moved to Lafayette, LA with his first job and after getting laid off moved to Houston. In the search for a new engineering job, he worked at Lowe’s. To Joel, working at Lowe’s was an important part of his journey, and never discouraged his potential to be a great engineer. He then went on to work 23 years for Technip Energies. Before his career was cut short he had become Global Head of Technology- Ethylene.
Joel was an independent, hardworking, ambitious, and quick witted man who enjoyed creating and making things himself. Some of his hobbies include brewing his own beer, forging knives, cooking on the Traeger, woodworking, and fixing up his truck. He was a dedicated Texans fan, who loved to tailgate and would never leave a game until the game clock read 0:00. He loved to learn new things through reading and watching videos and television. Some of his most recent obsessions were SpaceX and upgrading on ‘tiny truck’.
Though Joel’s journey of life ends here, his memory will forever live on through those that knew him.
In true Joel fashion and per his request, no formal memorial service will be held. As stated by him, “Parties are alright!” So to honor his life, his family will be hosting a party at World of Beer in Cypress, Texas on October 6th, 2024 to honor his life (while his beloved Texans play).

We would like to thank each and everyone one of you for coming and celebrating Crystal’s life. We would like to leave you with the following in remembrance of the beautiful soul we all had the opportunity to share this life with.
Don’t remember me with sadness, don’t remember me with tears, remember all the laughter we’ve shared throughout the years.
Now I am contented that my life was worthwhile knowing that I made someone smile along the way.
When you are walking down the street and you’ve got me on your mind, I’m walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
So please don’t be unhappy just because I’m out of sight, remember that I’m with you each morning, noon, and night.

My Mother, Donna Sue (Susie) Wight, passed Oct 3. She was at home with a dear friend and died painlessly of natural causes.
She had a tough life, tougher than anyone I know, but she was a positive person and generally happy or had plans for making herself happy. She had friends everywhere she went and no one was more important in her life than her friends. She was especially close to her sister Linda and brother Darrel Wight and thrilled to have been to a recent family reunion. She was also grateful and happy to have recently spent time with her grandson Pierce Bishop, wonderful granddaughter Amalia Lillios-Bishop and to have met her first great-grandchild Ulysses.
She very much loved her children and though, sadly, my sister Arrie and brother Eric both preceded her in death, my Mom believed she would be with them when she died and I hope she is.
I love you Mom.

Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey and a log cabin at Lake Minerva in the Adirondack Mountains were two of her favorite places to visit. Super friendly and caring, Justine made friends wherever she went. Later in life she attended classes for nursing school and worked at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. She loved to help people. Justine became a grandmother (Nana) in 1997 and that was one of the highlights of her life. She loved all three of her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with them and watching them grow.
Due to chronic illness, Justine retired early from her job as a medical office manager which she enjoyed and was very proud of. She spent 12+ years in an independent living community and enjoyed church, bible study, crafts, shopping, and countless games of Rummikub. Her last two years were spent in a nursing home where she served as Resident Council, led bible study, and enjoyed weekly games of Bingo, spending her bingo bucks at the Country Store.
Justine was a born again Christian and had a mission to share Jesus with others. She was active in church and participated in various ministries, most notably prison ministry. Justine had a near death experience at age 21 that impacted her for the rest of her life. She shared it with many people and eventually put it in writing for others to read about. For the last several years Pentecostals of West Houston (POWH) was her church home.
She is survived by her three children, Leigh Spencer of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Leslie Adams of Katy, Texas, and Derek Stott of Houston, Texas; grandchildren Molly Adams, Jenna Adams, and Maxwell Stott; sisters Natalie Czerw of Orange City, Florida and Diana Guy and husband Bill of Deltona, Florida; nieces Dawn Rourke, Suzanne Bohrer, Debbie Jamro, and nephew Brian Edwards. She is predeceased by her parents, Jean Zadrozny and Stanley Parazynski, and nephew Jerry Maxwell.

Rosalba Rodriguez was born on April 30th, 1960 in General Teran, Nuevo Leon. A beautiful soul and loving mother of 3 children had been called home to be with our beloved Lord on June 23rd, 2022. Although we are greatly hurting, we will cherish the times we spent with her and honor her memory as the selfless person she was. Rosalba had dedicated her life to upbringing her children and grandchildren with the most compassion and motherly Instincts possible, sought to be a pillar to her 4 siblings by providing selfless support and care, and devoted her career to taking care of those in need whilst loving and thriving in her role as a caretaker. Rosalba was influenced by her loving parents whom had passed away for some time, and whom she had missed dearly to no end each passing day. She was brought up to put others first and asking for nothing in return, and give love freely even when not given back. Although we are greatly hurting, we choose to celebrate her life in place of mourning. We choose to follow in her footsteps to spread positivity and love with no bounds. And we choose to let her memory serve as an angelic example of what it means to be courageous with compassion. She is survived by her 3 children Rocio Belen Rodriguez, Noe Rodriguez and Alejandro Rodriguez, and her 6 grandchildren Juan Noe Rodriguez, Andrew Rodriguez, Sebastian Rodriguez, Romeo Rodriguez, Vivian Rodriguez and Asher James Rodriguez.
